Description:

Repair to client-owned lantern. Lantern fitter bottom was detached from lantern base; cleaned off patina in areas where reattachment was needed, sanded to remove old solder, fabricated additional pieces to enable base to be reattached. Reattached door; removed old hinges and fabricated replacement hinges and pins, prepped old copper and re-soldered door to cage. Glass tabs missing; cleaned areas to be worked on and prepped old copper for new soldering; fabricated and added new tabs. Had replacement glass panes cut. Rewired and replaced with new electrical components and damp location socket.

Labor: 4.25 hours @ $150 rate for John Gantt lanterns - $637.50

Materials:  Copper - $10.00

Glass - $117

Total Amount Due:  $764.50
