Free Shipping Terms and Conditions

Free shipping applies to regular catalog items shipping within the continental United States only. Custom fixture orders may be assessed a shipping and handling fee communicated within your custom quote.

International orders do not qualify for free shipping and a custom shipping quote must be obtained prior to ordering. Please be aware that international orders may be assessed an import or duty fee by the nation to which they are being delivered that is not included in any shipping and handling quote or payment to Khalima Lights, LLC. Import and/or duty fees are assessed at the sole discretion of particular nations and will be communicated to the customer by that nation’s postal system and are payable to said nation. Khalima Lights, LLC is unable to provide estimates, quotes, or payment instructions for duty or import fees. If you have questions regarding potential fees applied to your order you must contact your nation’s postal service.

Safety Certifications and International Orders

While many of our fixtures are UL listed and all of them are tested by UL standard testing, a few of our lights are not UL listed due to design variations. Please read the item descriptions carefully when ordering. International orders - International electrical versions of our lighting can be made upon request, with CE listed component parts and tested to UL standards, but will not carry any certification stickers on the fixture itself.

We generally keep such collected information for the duration of 6 months to 10 years depending, and do this for the benefit of our customers in handling future duplicate orders or repairs to our products. If you would like to request the deletion of this information, please contact us via email or by phone to do so.

This web site is an ever-changing platform, and we may alter the terms of this agreement at any time. By continuing use of this service after we publish any such changes, you accept this agreement as modified.

Occasionally there may be information on our web site that contains accidental typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may pertain to product descriptions, availability, and pricing. Khalima Lights, LLC. reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). If you have an open order (an order that has not yet shipped), and a change is made that will affect the lead time of light fixtures in your order, we will notify you of the change via email. We will not notify you of other incidental changes.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control, including Squarespace, Etsy, Instagram, Facebook, or any third party services you access through any of these platforms. Information We Collect

The only information we collect from our users is that which you provide to us - name, email address, postal address, and details of products you are ordering - in communications (Contact the Studio, Trade Sales Application, or emails), and shipping information given at the time of purchase, which you authorize Squarespace to provide to us. We need this information to accurately fill orders and ship them to our customers. We also keep records of what items were purchased by whom so that any future repair issues may be accurately addressed. The shipping information of our customers is kept file for this purpose. We will never share your personal information with an unauthorized party. We do share your shipping information with the appropriate shipping carriers for delivery of your order. To fulfil your order, you must provide us with certain information such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide us with additional personal information (for a custom order for example), if you contact us directly.

Why We Need Your Information and How We Use It

We rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including: as needed to provide services, such as when we use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support; when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for our mailing list; if necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law; and as necessary for the purpose of our legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as 1) providing and improving our services. Squarespace. We share information with Squarespace as necessary to provide you our services and comply with our obligations under Squarespace Terms of Use.

Service providers. We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. We will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

Business transfers. If we sell or merge our business, we may disclose your information as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law.

Data Retention. We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and as described in our Privacy Policy. However, we may also be required to retain this information to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. We generally keep your data for the following time period: 10 years.

Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU. The information you provide to us through Squarespace is stored only on Squarespace's storage services. As we are a US based company, we do not transfer any of your information outside of the US other than for purposes of shipping with trusted carriers to fulfill your requested order.

Your Rights

If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. We describe these rights below: Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the contact information below. Change, restrict, delete.
