Pendant

Our sculptural art-lanterns strive to emulate the beauty of the natural world. Inspired by flower buds, cocoons, and of course, our favorite twilight phenomenon, the firefly, it is our hope that the Firefly Pendant will usher into your home a bit of the magic we experience at our home in the woods. Graceful curves and organic shapes govern the copper sculpting process, while delicate handmade paper diffuses light into a soft glow. Shown bi-colored in pale yellow and cream papers. Also available in solid colors.

The Firefly is entirely made by hand, piece by piece. No two are exactly alike. The copper is sculpted as we build each fixture, producing different different shapes within each light. Every piece of handmade fibrous paper is carefully applied using a special method we have developed, and given a coating of water based acrylic sealer to help strengthen the paper and protect it from the elements.
